What is Marmalaid?
Marmalaid is an AI hire that lives in your WhatsApp and works five roles: executive assistant, analyst, bookkeeper, coach, and concierge. You text her (or send a voice note) like a person, and she does real work — with a permanent memory of your preferences, people, and history.
How is Marmalaid different from other AI assistants?
Most AI assistants answer questions and summarize what’s in front of them. Marmalaid tracks the state of your work: what’s open, what’s waiting on someone else, what resolved itself in this morning’s email — and she closes loops instead of reciting them. She also compounds: permanent memory of your people, preferences, and projects means month three is a different assistant than day one. And nothing outward-facing ever happens without your yes.
How does she work?
Marmalaid is a contact in your WhatsApp — no app to install. You connect your Google account (Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Contacts), then ask in plain language. She plans the work, executes it, and confirms with you before anything is sent, booked, or deleted.
Will she send emails or book things without asking?
No. Marmalaid always confirms before she acts. Emails, invites, and reservations are staged and shown to you first — nothing outward-facing happens without your explicit yes.
Can I put her on a schedule?
Yes — anything Marmalaid does for you can become part of her job: a morning portfolio brief, a Monday dinner plan, a month-end expense report to your accountant. Tell her once, in plain language, and it arrives on schedule — personalized to what she knows about you, and always with your approval before anything leaves the chat.
Is my data private and secure?
Your data stays yours. Every member’s data is isolated, files are encrypted, and Marmalaid’s Google integration passed Google’s independent security verification (CASA Tier 2). Disconnect any time. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Marmalaid works entirely inside WhatsApp, which you already have. If you can send a text, you can work with her.
How much does she cost?
The beta is complimentary, by invitation — fifty founding testers who use her for real and help perfect her. At public launch, founding members lock a for-life rate that never rises, and role-based plans open to everyone else. For scale: a human executive assistant runs $2,000–5,000 a month.
